To get to Jenené Lodge in Nuquí (Colombia), you will have to start by travelling to Nuquí, a remote location on Colombia's Pacific coast. Here is a step-by-step guide to getting there and enjoying the journey.
Fly to Nuqui
The quickest and easiest way to get to Nuquí is by plane. You can book flights with Satena or other regional airlines, mainly from Medellín's Olaya Herrera airport. The flight takes about 30 minutes and offers views of the jungle landscape. Bring cash, as you will have to pay a small tourist tax on arrival.
From Nuqui to Jenené Lodge
Once in Nuqui, head to the local jetty to catch a boat to Jenené Lodge. Boats usually leave around 13.00, so ideally schedule your flight to arrive well before that time. The boat trip from Nuquí to the lodge usually takes an hour or more, depending on the weather and stops along the way.
We can also pick you up ourselves and take you back to the airport. Along the way, you can enjoy incredible views of the Pacific coastline, with its lush vegetation and vibrant blue waters.
